Oller Engineering was contracted by Mitchell County and Mitchell County Economic Development Corporation to design a weight and inspection facility in collaboration with Texas DPS and TxDOT.
Our comprehensive services covered structural, mechanical, and electrical aspects, ensuring compliance with regulations. We produced detailed plans for foundations, grading, drainage, roadways, concrete pavement, and inspection pits.
Additionally, we conducted on-site geotechnical investigations to assess soil strength.

74.35 acre tract of land divided into (13) 5-acre tracts, complete with a 30 foot Edge of Pavement to Edge of Pavement roadway on a 60 foot right of way.

Oller Engineering was contracted by JDF Estates to take a 74.35 acre tract of land divided into (13) 5-acre tracts, complete with a 30 foot Edge of Pavement to Edge of Pavement roadway on a 60 foot right of way.
The site required the need to provide a 10-foot easement past the right of way on each side of the road to handle the flow going through the development in a 1-foot depth roadside channel.
Culverts within the development were designed to handle the 5-year 24-hour storm event and the double barrel culvert crossing County Road 427 would handle the 10-year 24-hour storm event before over topping the road.
