Wendy has led numerous large-scale water and wastewater projects throughout her career, overseeing design, construction and compliance with regulatory standards. As Vice President, Wendy is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of engineering initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency, and fostering strong client relationships. She brings exceptional office-to-field experience, having provided construction inspections on many of her design projects.Her expertise ensures successful project outcomes and contributes significantly to the firm's growth and reputation.

Wendy is an active member of the Water Environment Federation, Texas Water Utilities Association, American Water Works Association, and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and an Alpha Omega Epsilon Alumnae and participates in supporting local businesses by providing donations to young entrepreneurs, minority and women-owned businesses as well as STEM related academic teams. Her commitment extends to enhancing her field through mentorship and community service.

Outside of her professional work, Wendy enjoys attending car shows and working on her truck, travelling, collecting and learning about art, reading, working out, socializing with friends over dinner, and taking care of her beloved bulldog, Andi Belle which adds a well-rounded perspective and positive energy to her leadership at OEI.
