Water & Wastewater
At OEI, we recognize water as the planet’s most vital resource. Our team is dedicated to evaluating current water supplies, analyzing cost factors, and designing comprehensive systems for water treatment, storage, and distribution. We specialize in the development of advanced water and wastewater technologies, including reverse osmosis and membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems. In addition to the services below, our team not only excels in designing complex water systems, but also in securing the necessary permits from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to ensure seamless project execution.
From Concept to Completion.
Water sources can be classified into two categories: groundwater and surface water. Groundwater is extracted from aquifers through wells that are strategically drilled and developed. Once brought to the surface, the water is transported through a network of pipelines and booster stations to storage facilities. If the groundwater does not meet primary and secondary water quality standards, it undergoes treatment processes to ensure it complies with regulatory requirements for potable water. Following treatment, the water is stored in elevated, or hydropneumatic tanks, which our team expertly designs and oversees throughout the installation process.

18" Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation (Burst-In-Place)
-
Oller Engineering, Inc. was contracted by the City of Tomball to perform an analysis and design the rehabilitation of an existing sanitary sewer line by utilizing the burst-in-place and cured-in-place method.
Located at Tomball Parkway and Hicks Road, OEI provided design and specifications for the procedure of increasing the existing sanitary sewer size from 12-inch Truss Pipe to 12-inch fusible HDPE and an existing 15-inch Truss Pipe sewer line to an 18-inch fusible HDPE line.

8" Waterline Replacement
-
OEI was contracted by the City of Cleburne to replace approximately 1,350-ft of 1-inch PVC Waterline on their E Henderson Road with an 8-inch C900 PVC waterline. This project also required installation of fire hydrants, water service connections, and associated appurtenances.
The project consisted of an expedited project schedule due to the location of the replacement and the area the waterline serviced.
OEI was able to complete design and specifications within the expedited schedule and remain on budget for the completion of the project. This area of their water distribution system will now allow for greater capacity to serve commercial and residential meters.

Project Start/Completion Dates: March 2022-December 2022
Location: City of Cleburne, East Henderson Road
Budgeted Project Construction Cost: $100,000

15" Gravity Main Sewer CIPP
-
OEI provided engineering design services for the City of Andrews for an existing gravity sewer main which consisted of a Cured-In-Place-Pipe, (CIPP) process.
We also designed the realignment of an existing gravity main between manholes 108 and 123 to remove existing 90-degree bends.
We continued design solutions to include new manholes along the length of 12-inch gravity sewer line on Mustang Drive per TCEQ required spacing of 500 feet.
Finally, we provided specifications to rehabilitate all existing manholes on the sewer main with spray in liner including all inverts.
