Bio

Calli joined OEI’s team as an Environmental Specialist in 2024. She is originally from Minnesota and has lived in multiple other states prior to moving to Lubbock. Previously, she worked in GIS and code enforcement while in Maryland. Calli brings her diverse environmental knowledge from her time living in various places across the country.

  • Degree

    • Bachelor of Science, Environmental Science, Southern New Hampshire University

  • Prior to working with OEI, Calli spent multiple years working with the local government while in Maryland. She worked on a variety of projects and gained invaluable experience in GIS, field work, and data collection. She also spent time working in code enforcement, which allowed her to gain experience reading through government code and real-time application in a variety of settings. Calli has applied this knowledge at OEI while assisting with permitting projects, GIS & Data collection, and working with clients to ensure compliance with relevant code and standards.

  • Since Calli joined the OEI Team, she jumped right into assisting with several projects, both ongoing as well as new projects. Some relevant projects include:

    • FM 1259 Cattle Feeders – Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation General Permit; Hereford, TX

    • C & D Waste Landfill – Type IV Landfill Permit Amendment; Lubbock, TX

    • Ongoing GIS Management for several clients

  • Outside of work, Calli enjoys crafting, such as crocheting, DIY projects, and other types of art. She also enjoys playing board games with her friends, video games, trying new restaurants around town, dog training, and spending time with her pets at home.
