New Insights to Sustainable Water Supplies

OEI is involved in numerous water treatment systems where additional treatment or advanced innovative treatment is required to meet primary and secondary drinking water standards because of the raw water quality of their source water.  In specific cases the water in question is groundwater and the drinking water quality is less than desirable.  To create and/or add to the existing supply, many water purveyors are developing these supplies and improving quality with innovative treatment systems.

Advanced and innovative treatment technologies are evolving daily and identifying the best alternatives for treatment is what we do.

OEI is assisting cities, industry, and private development in securing, developing, and treating raw water.  There are several systems being used for this treatment from Reverse Osmosis, (RO) to Ultra-Filtration using ceramic membranes.  New innovative designs use ceramic membranes to remove various contaminates with a very low concentrate discharge volume.  Developing a treatment train for these applications is challenging and very rewarding.  Identifying the most cost-effective solutions to assure a sustainable supply is intriguing and requires the use of engineering knowledge and experience to develop the best solutions.

OEI is virulent in identifying new and innovative solutions for sustainable water. This involves conservation techniques along with protecting the environment in which we live, work and play.  Advanced and innovative treatment technologies are evolving daily and identifying the best alternatives for treatment is what we do.

From large to small designs identifying the treatment system to fit the application and meet drinking water standards is our job.  We do it well and since we’re certified operators, we assure proper operation after the process is installed and operating.
